Edyta believes that all dreams come true only if we trust and believe in ourselves, knowing our self-worth.
She did her first Master’s degree in Pedagogy and straight after her studies, she worked as counselor and mentor at high school and social institutions (Emergency Youth Center, Orphanage, Second Chance School,) in Poland as well as an English teacher for private schools.
She took great satisfaction and pride in tutoring/coaching students and helping them to build confidence in their ability to achieve goals, both academically and socially.
After emigrating to Belgium in 2001, she gained her second Masters in European Integration and Development from ‘Vrie Universiteit Brussel’ where she acquired knowledge on the social dialogue and the decision-making process in EU.
Edyta was deeply involved in organising and coordinating the study visits to European Institutions in Luxembourg and Brussels.
In 2006, she moved to her dream country, sunny and peaceful Portugal, where she continues working for the European Communities.
As an active member of AASC (Assembly of Agency Staff Committees) she co-coordinates the work of the Assembly. At the same time, she promotes the wellbeing policies at work, career development and mobility which should be based on a personal career plan with respect for individual skills and clear treatment for everybody. She is passionate that the scope of mobility within European Communities should be extended to all EU Institutions and all European Agencies.
She has joined Self-Worth Associates to help people reinvent themselves in a new country while always using self-worth as a guiding life principle.
